Plot
Trying to save the girl, the guy gets into an accident and dies. But he got lucky, because the goddess herself needed his help! He was given a unique power in exchange for the opportunity to live on, albeit in a different body, and since then he has to perform the goddess' tasks (rather pleasant tasks, to be frank!). But will he be able to find a common language with his new family (and get used to the new place)? Yes, the landlady is very caring, but she clearly lacks a husband. And the Asian twin girls not only have characters like fire and water, but also have very unusual fetishes...
However, even more difficulties await for him in college. The willful and bossy Miss Collins doesn't go easy on anyone, as she makes him stay after school and makes him do things that are strictly prohibited between teachers and students!

This game is so awesome. Great update, I am kind of in love with Annie now. So few games do THAT kind of Submission properly.
I hope we get to see the ... distracted gamer... more. I also hope that we get more of ... a certain new trainee...we're sharing with Ms Collins... though I hope the tone is not so dark for too long, that might be my one qualm with this update, the first time around, there was admission of enjoyment, to a degree, this time around there was... not. It was cold. violatory... HOT AF... to a degree... but only if retrospectively we establish everything that person is doing, is just bidding, and she wanted where we take it.
Also... please tell me there will be a Harem pathway all the way through the game? At the very end.. if you do not... conduct a certain disciplinary undertaking with another student... you have conversation with Annie. She asks you a certain question, one that sparks dread in all true connoisseurs of AVNs of worth and culture like this one.
Please tell me this is not a portent of dire situations, that a single strong river of love, will not be split in to narrow, singular brooks of love, and we must paddle the canoe of our passion down but one!!!!!
It would be a CRIME to make that happen.
Love it... but cant wait for the public release of the next chapter... between the thing with Pseudo-Mom and the MC growing distant to her at the 11th Hr, the Selene weakening thing, and everything going to hell with the two little sweet Pseudo-Sisters... the game right now, ends in total bummer territory.
I love this game so far... but seeing the note we end on here, makes me scared to rate it... because I feel like it could two ways moving forwards....either we fix everything slowly, and then slowly bring all the potential LIs, or the one's we chose, in to tight carnal orbit centred around us, and then solve the Goddesses problems with their aid... OR... it gets even more awkward and dystopian, we made to feel even more helpless than we are left feeling after our feast talk with Hecate appears to actually be true, and we have wade through chapters of misery before a late game, end content, hail Mary miracle chapter where we turn everything around.
If it is the latter, this game will go from SSS Tier, AAA Rank, AWESOME sauces of a taboo sex romp AVN, that I would give 5 stars, and 100 out of 10... to a minus 500 out of 10.

The game is fine.
If you play AVNs for the N bit, there's tons out there which do not have the A bit, and are just dedicated Visual Novel style games, which are a millions times better than ANY AVN because they are made by major studios.
If you play for the A bit, this should be SSS Tier for you, as the scenes are great... not as long or immersive as some... but beautifully done.
If you are playing an AVN that has this 'weird' trope you mentioned, expect them to be a little batty, because they HAVE to be....it is taboo sexual fantasy, that is very rare irl, and most people cannot imagine a logical, realistic, scenario in which it could happen... ...because most of us do not do that kind of thing, never have, so have no metric to judge such, and those who HAVE, are stigmatized in almost ALL societies... so I doubt they are making AVNs, and if they DO, they likely will not be using the real world experience of how they came to be sleeping with half their family as the narrative.
If you play AVNs expecting both amazing A bit, and amazing N bits... then what can you do, they do not exist, even the very very best in the genre do not blend both flawlessly.... they cannot.
Most 'Artistes' with a story living as a song in their heart they just have to get out.... choose the AVN format, over just a plain old VN one, to simply broaden their reach.. You almost ALWAYS find the adult content is cheap, quick, BS, limited in quantity, duration, and quality, and usually not even necessary for the story (as in retrospective confirmation, implication and suggestion, symbolism, or good old Fade To Black would work just as well and make NO difference to the game) but just there as a gimmick and to let Adult and NSFW tags do their thing, and draw in players from a smaller competition than going up against aforementioned VNs made by big pro studios.
Most AVNs where the ADULT bit is CRITICAL and even foundational to the story, have major issues with narrative... because at the very least, even leaving out crazy rationalisations, contortions in morals and logic, tenuous associations and interpretations etc etc to justify the extreme fetishist, or very taboo things.... the narrative still needs be one which somehow explains the F ton of sex going on. That is almost impossible to do realistically, when by the end of an in game week the MC is meant to have banged his neighbour five times, his classmate thrice, once with his Uni lecturer who they've also banged separately half a dozen times, his sisters best friend... and his sister.... and mom.... and.... grammie at least four times. The result being rather simplistic, unrealistic, at times repetitive, at others just batshit cray cray narratives, that are basically necessary to move the carnal narrative, which is the games core, along.
Even the very very best games on here... the highest rated, like Eternum, or Ripples or Pale Carnations, go all in on the loopy edgy crazy unrealistic BS at times, because they could not be the games they are without it, and still hit all the adult content beats they do.
And who says choices have to matter? Sure agency is great...but there are FAR FAR worse games for removing all agency from the player. Play Harem Hotel deep in the late game, or what there is so far in it... and it a pretty long game even unfinished... and then enjoy being a spectator in all your girls dismal failures to do what needs doing to address the social injustice which becomes the overriding narrative of the game instead of the Hotel or the Harem. Talk about choices not mattering and lack of agency, sheesh.
Also... Annie's Anal Surrender is all the reward system anyone should need, and if that is less important to you than immersive narrative, I suggest you stop playing games, and go read some the classics of idk, 19thC Russian literature. This is an AVN. Not Tolstoy, sorry.
sadly agree, the graphics are great, but *man* I really don't like the story or layout they have going, which is a shame. This is the first game like this I have ever played and then genuinely had to push myself to keep playing it, only to uninstall it because of how bad it got... A partnership could be cool, no shame in that for sure, some of the best games I've seen on here are made like that. Hope changes are made.

The Amnesia trope is present in SO MANY AVNs, this is not the first. The Domestic set up, and the Damsel in Distress element, as well as the College thing, as ALL staples of the Genre too.

I have never found this game unplayable at all, and I have played 100s of AVNs.
Probably partially because it is so recycled, but the day to day dialogue feels very low effort and generally scattered as if it's impossible to use words larger than 5 letters for someone lol
I think it is absolutely possible, the genre isn't an excuse. Particularly, play Companions of Darkness- it has incredible reputation for its story and was great IMO, that or maybe Cross Realms (which I think should frankly go to JUST story and not AVN because of what it is / makes itself to be).
I have played both. Companion has WAY TOO LITTLE sex for an AVN, and WAY WAY too little for an AVN THAT LONG, sorry. Cross Realms, indeed, SHOULD just become a VN, and drop the Adult parts, because they really do nothing, in fact, in my review for the game, I say JUST THIS.
But you have made my point. Games which focus on a realistic, deep, well written narrative.... ALWAYS fail, in regards to their Adult content, just like Companion of Darkness and Cross Realms, unless the MC or the world having a heavy sexual/sexualized nature is written in CORE to the story... because such stories DO NOT lend themselves to copious amounts of wild Sex.
Sorry, I prefer my AVNs DO have COPIOUS AMOUNTS OF WILD SEX. For that, I will take some tropes, and some simplistic dialogue, and bat shit cray cray prepositions and tenuous associations and logic. If those things are need for the MC to bang his mother, sister (legal) daughter, and his doctor, and lawyer, and (female) best friend, and neighbour, and neighbours daughter, and best friends mother..... whilst on spaceships careening out of control towards blackhole ... wormhole... that will take him to the land of the Space Elves.... where he must fuck the Elf Sorceress Queen in a Sex battle to the death, to save the world from Demoness that has fallen in love with him and been R-wording him most the game.....because you CANNOT have that happen, without some tropes, simplistic dialogue, crazy unrealistic premises.
But for ME, THAT is MUCH better than some 'narratively realistic and sophisticated immersive story'...... that does not GIVE ME ELF ORGIES and let me bang everyone in my household.. and on my block... multiple times in a week.

Some advice. To increase your chances of passing GOG's curation, you (or the users) should create a GOG Dreamlist page. However to create a GOG Dreamlist page, your game must first exist on IGDB.com. So please create an entry on IGDB, so it could then sync with GOG's Dreamlist, so we could create a page and vote for the game.
I think around that time is when Collective shout preassured the payment processors and steam remove the ability to put NSFW games in early access soon after
STEAM/Valve seems to be of multiple minds on AVNs these days. Not just 2 minds... I mean it when I said Multiple Minds. They just plain cannot keep a straight line of thought on the content of these games much less standardize their offerings to match it. SO. Do not be surprised if in 6 months you find more games with far more not so clear characters in it for sale there.

OK, I am now many many hours into this. I gave it a fair trial. Here's my thoughts.
First, to make a great AVN you need 3 things. The visuals have to be amazing, the story has to be incredible, and the dialogue has to be on point. If any one of these is off, the AVN could very well suck. I have read through probably 150 AVN's at this point. So I think I can recognize a decent one.
The visuals in MBD are simply unbelievable. The stills and the animations both are stunning. I don't think I can give a high enough rating to the visuals. They are among the best I've ever seen.
The dialogue, as I mentioned previously, needs a lot of work. Not only is there a lot of spelling and grammar mistakes, but a lot of the story is ruined by the author's inability to set a standard for the story and follow it. In the beginning, they establish that Molly owns a house and everyone else just lives there, they aren't related. But the two girls are twins, but not sisters, but are? And Molly isn't Mom, but they sometimes call her Mom? And the word neighbor is used in place of brother or sister throughout the story to make sure the reader knows they aren't related. But they act exactly like they are related, and it's taboo to have sex with each other. BTW, instead of neighbor, the author should use the word roommate, at least in the English translation. So this is either an AVN where its another guy fucking Mom and sisters trope, or it isn't. And the dialogue is very bad at explaining that.
Which leads me to the story itself. Overall, I like the concept of the story. Two goddesses vying for control of a mortal to further their existence while the MC has to deal with shit of his own. Kind of fun. But the telling of the story through the dialogue is NOT working. The arch is great, the execution isn't. Most of the people don't talk to each other they way they should at all for most of the situations they are in. The writing feels very elementary. I would be surprised if the author is older than 25. Don't get me wrong. there are a lot of amazing elements in this story, but the telling of it is not well executed. I made it as far as the conversation with Molly right after MC hooked up with Annie. At this point I had to nope out of it. Why would what they are doing be taboo if no one is actually related? If they aren't related, why do they all act like they are?
To sum up, Visuals = Fucking Incredible. Story = Not terrible, needs more thought put into it. Dialogue = Translation isn't bad, but everything about the grammar is, and it's clear the author doesn't have an understanding how to write for English speaking personalities. Using the Guy fucks Mom and Sisters trope is terrible, lazy, and way overdone. This is not meant to be an insult. It is an honest review, and I hope the author learns from it, and can make the corrections needed to make this a great project. The basics are there, it just needs to be cleaned up, and rewritten in a few spots. It has potential for a great AVN. I just think these things need to be corrected before the story goes any further.
I agree with every last thing you said, other than the trope issues you have with the game. I think that the whole "taboo incest fetish" thing isnt going anywhere. It is still a hugely popular fetish and i think many devs and authors should continue implementing it. Not all porn game fetishes need to be brand new, unique and innovative. In fact, I find it better when the fetishes are widespread, but remain the same tags they've always been. Personally I find the whole "roommates/landlord" thing annoying af. Either have the balls to go with what you meant for it to be, or create a completely different scenario. (Although I understand why these days with Itchio cracking down on some fetishes like that due to retarded legal bullshit...)
You ARE right, however when it comes to flow, context and consistency... The author needs to clean that up, as it was obviously meant to be a taboo incest game, but they cleaned it up (horribly) for some reason. As far as the grammar, they should get someone that can translate (if thats what they did) into english much much better. Or at least write the language fluently and eloquently instead of making it sound like a third grader wrote this.
But other than that, I completely agree with everything else. And I also quite enjoyed the game. This site definitely has much worse out there...

OK, You are right. I think I didn't explain myself very well when it comes to the incest trope. I don't hate it, and I know it isn't going anywhere. I'm just tired of it, even though I have loved some AVNs that use it. I wrote my review in REVIEWS a little differently. I gave it 2 stars, but hope that I can change that later if this gets fixed. My Rating Review:
An AVN needs three things to be great:
1. An Amazing Story
2. Outstanding Dialogue
3. Fantastic Visuals
I gave the what I believe to be a fair shake, and couldn't finish it. Part of it has to do with my hang ups with the incest trope. I just feel it's been done to death. And changing the terms of mom to landlady, or sister to room mate is just dumb in my honest opinion.
That being said, I have read some amazing AVNs that used that trope and loved them (Sisterly Lust, Depth's Revival) and feel this isn't a reason alone to not like an AVN. So let me tell you what I think of this one.
1st, the Visuals are fucking epic. The renders, the animations, the models used, are all simply incredible. Visually, this is a stunning work.
2nd, the Story is an amazing concept. MC is trying to balance having the abilities from two goddesses while trying to keep the peace with both, and having to deal with a fairly chaotic home life as well. There is a lot of great stuff in this story arch and I can see a possible longevity to this work if some things get fixed.
3rd, the dialogue. Here is where this piece loses me. First off let's start with the fact that this was translated from something else to English, and there are a lot of spelling and grammar mistakes. That itself is kind of normal. But there are obviously manners of speech in the original language that don't translate very well to the English version, making it hard to understand what characters are saying, or trying to say in their conversations. ALSO NOT UNUSUAL. This is normal in a lot of AVNs. A skilled AVN reader can look past these things and move on. I usually try to.
BUT, and here is where it all goes off the rails, It's obvious the author started with using the incest trope, and somewhere along the way, decided to not use it. So all throughout the dialogue there are elements of both mixed together. They start out with MC not being related to the house mates, and none of them being related to each other. Except you can see the two girls are obviously twins, and look like their NOT mother. They continually talk about having sex with each other being some kind of taboo. And in some parts even use the words mom, and sister. This story has no idea how it wants to present itself. I got pretty far into the story before I couldn't take it anymore. What this story needs is a complete dialogue rewrite by a native English speaker. It needs to identify what the characters are to each other, and redo the parts where them hooking up either does or does not make sense. The base elements are there to make this a really great work of art. But as is, I think it is not worth the time to try to understand it. I hope the author is able to take criticism in the spirit it's given. I think this could be amazing, if it gets fixed.
Starting with 3.3. I am 10 minutes in, and I can already tell the dialogue is..basic. Obviously translated to English from something else. The story is following the trope of hooking up with Mom and sisters. (this is a tired and lazy trope) But in this one, they go out of the way to say they are not Mom and sisters at the beginning. But as soon as MC meets the girls, they call each other brother and sisters. The dialogue needs some cleaning up. There were noticeable spelling and grammar mistakes also. I will keep playing, and even will buy it through Patreon if I like it. Good work should be paid for. I guess we will see where the story goes.
The experience of version 3.3 was extremely pleasant, so I tried version 3.9. I particularly liked Rin and Annie and regarded them as my girlfriends. But when I reached the content of version 3.6, everything went to mess. At that time, I didn't realize that Rin had lost control. Especially in the bathroom scene, I chose to allow her to use that hole. Because my English was poor, I mistakenly thought that the protagonist should go to the next room to interact with her. Unexpectedly, there were unexpected consequences. My mood changed from disappointment to anger to regret. Later, I reflected on the various behaviors between the protagonist and Rin, and combined with Hecate's warning to me, I was worried that Rin was only infatuated with the protagonist due to the influence of love power. I was very clear about Rin's inner desires, so whenever I selected content that made Rin unhappy, I would immediately click back. From the thesis presentation to the evening walk, I was trying my best to make her satisfied without letting others notice, but perhaps what she really wanted was not these. I'm not sure about your thoughts when creating the character Rin. To be honest, there are still many mysteries that remain unsolved. However, if the protagonist doesn't realize the side effects of love power, I'm afraid the subsequent plot will increasingly exceed the boundaries.
The good news is that you didn't place that unpleasant part separately in the gallery, so I can gradually forget this scene. I'm very much looking forward to the future plot development. After all, this story still has a lot of content to be developed. If you have the task of translating into Chinese during the game production, I would be very glad to offer my full assistance.
After reading the comments of others, I realized that MBD needs more options. Joining Sharing was indeed a very bold decision, but I merely suggested that more diverse choices be placed within an acceptable range, or to avoid the occurrence of the event if the wrong option is chosen. Of course, this means more production volume, so I respect your decision and will not oppose your work results.
Yeah hopefully the cucky/sharing stuff stays a very minor part of the game.
You're confusion is not unfounded. Read my post above. It was poorly translated to English as well. The author doesn't seem to be able to tell the story properly. There are a lot of data points within the story that don't make sense. I think the author is relying heavily on the beautiful visuals to carry the story.
Should give more choices imo, would be much better if that was the case, for instance I have absolutely no interest in molly and always skip the scenes and the talks after. Shouldnt be forced to have relations with certain people, or be forced into where the MC dislikes or disapproves with his newer power and special friend. Would be fun to go entirely down her path.
