Firstly, version 2.8 of My Best Deal is already out in early access for subscribers for $30. We look forward to your feedback and are already working on the next version of the game. 

But it's not all. Guys, we're really happy to let you know that  FREE public version of the game is already available! We'll give you the details a little bit below. After announcing this news, we'd like to tell you a little bit about how and why we made this decision.

Many of you have been asking questions about publishing the game on Steam. Guys, we have a confession to make - releasing My Best Deal on Steam was, in many ways, a dream for us. We have been working long, hard, and carefully preparing the game for publication on Steam, and we have been working tirelessly since spring of this year. We've made small tweaks to older versions of the game to make the early My Best Deal even better, taking into account the vast experience we've gained over the course of its long development. We fully prepared and designed a page for our game on Steam. We made a cool trailer for My Best Deal. We overcame a myriad of technical and life obstacles to reach our goal.

However... At the very last moment, when everything was ready and we only had to wait for permission from Steam administration, we received... a complete ban on My Best Deal. We were informed that our game was not suitable for Steam. We tried to challenge this decision, but.... you know what I mean. Basically, nobody would even talk to us.

Can you imagine what a blow it was for us? For the first time after it, we really didn't want to do anything. We just wanted to forget about everything. But, of course, we are not going to give up. We'll deal with all the hardships as long as we have our amazing subscribers with us!

Therefore, so that anyone can play our game, we're releasing a free public version of My Best Deal! As previously mentioned, it will not differ from the paid version, except that the free game will initially be based on version 2.5.5. We decided to do this because in this update, we made the most changes to the early versions of the game, and these changes will be important for people who want to play our game for the first time. The free version of the game will also be periodically updated with a slight delay from the paid version. This is essentially its only difference.

Guys, we're doing this because our project is really important to us. It's not just about the project. Your support is crucial to us. The best part of our project is you, our favorite subscribers. If it weren't for your faith in us, if it weren't for your help, we would have stopped everything a long time ago. It's only because of you that we've gotten back on our feet after the horrendous, unfair kick in the arse that we received.
